Overview

Posting a job on Hire Grid is quick and easy, allowing you to connect with top recruiters who specialize in your industry. Follow these simple steps to create and publish a job listing.

Step 1: Sign In to Your Account

To get started, log into your Hire Grid account. If you don’t have an account yet, you’ll need to sign up and and get approved.

Step 2: Navigate to the Job Posting Section

Once logged in, click "Post a Job" button on your dashboard. You can also go to Jobs and then click "Post a Job".

Step 3: Fill in Job Details

Posting a Job is a breeze if you already have your job description ready. You can either

  1. Upload a file with your job description

  2. You can copy/paste your job description

  3. You can copy the details from one of your previously posted jobs

  4. You can manually fill out everything

All of the above will lead you to the Job Form.

Step 4: Job Form

If you provided your Job Description in the previous step, most of your job form will be automatically filled out for you. You can fix things if needed.

Here is a brief description of the fields in the form

  1. Job Title
This will be the job title of the employee you are hiring

    Civil Engineer - Correct
Senior Manager - Accounts - Correct
I am hiring a Senior Manager - Incorrect

  2. No. of Roles
Sometimes you could be hiring multiple people for the same role. For example, you could be hiring three sales people for your company. You do not have to post different jobs for each role. You can simply post one job and select 3 roles. Adding a role will cost you extra but you will also get extra recruiters to fill you role as you will need more resumes now.

  3. About this Role
This is where you will write everything you are looking for in a new employee. In short this is the complete Job Description.

  4. Must Haves
This is usually generated automatically. You can edit if you want. It is a snapshot of your main requirements for the recruiters.

  5. Nice to Haves

This is usually generated automatically. You can edit if you want. It is a list of requirements that are not required but preferred.

  6. Important Details

Set the details about your job post like how many paid leave do you offer or if you are offering visa assistance to prospective employees. These details are important and will help candidates decide if they like to apply for the job.

  7. Location
This is where your employee will come to work every day. For remote jobs, this will not apply.

  8. Perks
Brag about what you offer to new employees here. You can also add custom perks if you don't see what you offer in the list.

  9. Salary or Salary Range
You must provide a salary or a salary range in order to post a job on Hire Grid. Hunting for people without a salary range is a tremendous waste of efforts and resources. Please provide an estimate of a salary you would be willing to offer to the new candidates.

If you are also offering commissions or bonuses, you can click the checkboxes below and provide them as well.

  10. Commission
The industry gold standard commission is 20% of the base salary. We let you decide the commission. If the role is easier to find, you can set the commission lower. If the role is very important to your organization or very hard to find, set it higher. In many industries like legal and financial, 30% to 35% commission is considered standard.

  11. Attach Any Relevant Documents

You can attach any documents related to the job if you see fit. These will be available/visible to the candidates.

  12. Ideal Resume

Provide an ideal resume to help recruiters understand what they should be looking for.

  13. Interview Steps

Providing interview steps give candidates a clear roadmap of what to expect in the interview process.

  14. Top Job
You can standout from other jobs by making your job a Top Job. This show recruiters that you are serious about hiring.

Step 5: Review and Publish

Before submitting, review your job post to ensure accuracy. Once satisfied, click "Publish Job." You will then be taken to the payment page to pay the job posting fee. Once that is done, your job will be visible to the recruiters who can start applying for the job.
