How do I Cancel a Job?

There could be several reasons why you might want to cancel a job—maybe you've filled the position elsewhere, re-evaluated your hiring needs, or decided to pause recruitment. Whatever the reason, Hire Grid makes it easy to cancel your job posting.


Steps to Cancel a Job:

1️⃣ Go to Your Job Listing – Find the job you want to cancel in your dashboard.

2️⃣ Click “Manage” – This will open job management options.

3️⃣ Select “Cancel Job” at the bottom of the right column – You will be asked to choose a reason from a dropdown menu.



4️⃣ Confirm Cancellation – Once confirmed, the job will be cancelled and removed from recruiter searches.

What Happens After Cancellation?

✅ The job posting subscription will stop immediately.

✅ If you have already hired someone, you will not see the option to cancel. Instead you will see the option to Close the job. The job posting subscription will stop immediately after closing the job.
